Estimates/quotes are based on the information provided at the time. If additional issues are found during the job, the customer will be notified, and additional costs may apply.

Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.

3. Parts & Products

The Company may use OEM, aftermarket, or performance parts depending on customer preference and availability.

Warranty on parts is subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

Custom or special‑order parts require full payment upfront and are non‑refundable.

4. Payment Terms

Full payment is required upon completion of the work and prior to the vehicle being released.

Deposits may be required for large jobs, tuning work, or custom upgrades.

Late payment fees may apply if invoices remain unpaid beyond the agreed timeframe.

5. Vehicle Tuning & Performance Upgrades

All tuning, performance upgrades, ECU/TCU adjustments, and off‑road modifications are done at the customer’s risk.

The customer acknowledges that performance enhancements may affect fuel consumption, emissions compliance, driveline stress, engine life, and factory warranties.

The Company is not responsible for issues arising after tuning unless directly caused by workmanship.

6. Mechanical Repairs, Servicing & Diagnostics

The Company will carry out repairs and servicing to a professional standard.

If additional faults are discovered during servicing or repairs, the customer will be notified before proceeding.

Diagnostic fees apply regardless of whether the repair is completed.

7. Off‑Road Use & Aftermarket Modifications

Many modifications are intended for off‑road use only. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their vehicle remains road‑legal.

The Company is not liable for fines, compliance issues, or WOF failures caused by modifications.

8. Warranty & Liability

Workmanship warranty applies only to labour completed by The Company and does not cover wear‑and‑tear or failures caused by unrelated issues.

Warranty does not apply if:

the vehicle is misused, raced, or used beyond normal operating conditions;

modifications are altered or tampered with by third parties;

the customer fails to maintain the vehicle as recommended.

The Company is not responsible for loss or damage caused by pre‑existing faults or components that fail during normal testing.

9. Storage & Abandoned Vehicles

Vehicles left more than 7 days after completion may incur daily storage fees.

Vehicles not collected within 30 days may be sold to recover costs, after reasonable attempts to contact the customer.

10. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must disclose known issues, previous modifications, or tuning done to the vehicle.

The customer must ensure the vehicle is insured before leaving it with The Company.

Personal belongings should be removed; The Company is not liable for items left in the vehicle.

11. Road Testing

The customer authorises The Company to road/off-road test the vehicle before and after repairs/tuning to ensure proper operation.

12. Health & Safety

For safety reasons, customers are not permitted in workshop areas unless authorised.

Only trained staff may operate workshop tools and machinery.

13. Cancellation

Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking may incur a fee, especially if parts were ordered or workshop time was allocated.

14. Limitation of Liability

The Company will not be liable for:

indirect or consequential loss;

loss of income, downtime, or inconvenience;

damage caused by aftermarket parts or customer‑supplied components.

15. Acceptance of Terms

By leaving a vehicle with The Company for any service, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.

16. New Zealand Legal Compliance

These Terms & Conditions comply with New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and the Fair Trading Act 1986 (FTA).

If the customer is acquiring services for business purposes, the CGA does not apply by mutual agreement.

The Company will comply with all applicable NZ regulations relating to vehicle repairs, safety, and consumer rights.
